GM Surplus Available through Ideal Surplus Sales (not an advertisement)

As many are aware, one of our largest clients, General Motors, has specific goals to meet. If you have followed along on many of my tirades, you know my opinions concerning this.

Rapid downsizing of facilities and plant closings results in freed up equipment and materials that are shared amongst the various remaining facilities for spare parts and new projects. However, in the present climate that has been happening very rapidly.

One of the joint programs that GM has in place for taking care of materials, etc. includes Ideal SeTech as a contractor for a program called ‘Share the Spare.’ Due to the rapid downsizing, a new joint surplus sales program has been launched this year between GM and Ideal SeTech.

This means that spare surplus new and repaired equipment from closed/closing GM plants is available through http://www.idealsurplussales.com.

I have checked out the website, which is still being populated, and talked to the Ideal folks. As part of our ongoing effort to support our clients and you, our readers, we will be continuing to post notices related to this site and surplus equipment here, in our eMag and through other resources.

One of the benefits of being a SUCCESS by DESIGN client. (http://www.motordoc.com)

Note: Ideal SeTech and idealsurplussales.com are not associated with SUCCESS by DESIGN offerings or services, nor does SBD receive any finder’s fees nor advertising fees for the use of these services. We make no guarantee about the quality of items provided – although we are very impressed with their system of verification and warehouse control. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED by SBD.
